I'm currently working through the pictures I took last night and I'm waiting for someone I met at the show to upload the picture he took of Amanda and I after the show to Facebook (he added me via the mobile app while at the show--Blackberry smartphone FTW!)** before I do a full-on review. But let's hit the important points:
- I am currently sitting in the shirt I bought from the merch table. Pictures later, since I'm sure no one wants a picture of me wearing it with no bra. Or you might. But...yeah. XD It's a pretty navy blue, art nouveau-y kind of shirt.
- I was the first in line with Ruth and Lauren.
- I may have a small girlcrush on the lead singer of Girl in a Coma now. Gorgeous girl with an amazing voice, and the way she moved on stage with her guitar...
- I was right up against the stage and didn't move the entire night. The only time it got a little crazy was when people got pulled up/climbed onto the stage right before "The Jeep Song".
- I did a lot of crying at that show. But good crying! Good, healthy, healing crying.
- I probably said some variation of "fuck" way, way, way too much last night.
- I got to meet Amanda and Brian after the show. Brian gives amazing hugs!
- Amanda Palmer kissed me on the mouth. TWICE. What is my life.
Um. So. Yes. Also?
YES. I fucking love the EP. It's so insane and different and I love the chorus to "F.T.W.W.W." mostly because it talks about android girls. Y'know, because I am one and all. XD
