Mrs. Lovett: I really enjoy Sweeney Todd and I love Helena Bonham Carter. I also, or so I've been told, have fabulous ta-tas. It works out rather nicely.
Siegfried Sassoon: Englishman, soldier, poet. I think Sally was the one who introduced me to his work, and I've loved it ever since, to the point of referencing one of his poems in a story title.
"Hard Rs": Adelle says this in Dollhouse, during the episode in season one where everyone's kind of high off some experimental drug. She's normally very...British.
Angry Wilson: Partially something of an inside joke, as I am pretty much the Wilson in a friendship, so when I have a bad day...
Preppy Doof Face: Aka, Gerard in the sweater vest/blazer combo he wore to a TUA signing. Quite honestly, one of the least questionable things he's worn anywhere, except for the sunglasses. Who, I ask, in their right mind pairs sunglasses with a sweater vest and blazer? Indoors? The nickname comes from the file name someone applied to a larger picture of Gerard in his sweater vest.
Penance: It's Janove Ottesen in the Kaizers Orchestra video for "Maestro", which is pretty much set in a circus. The "penance" part is something of another inside joke.
