It's really hard to pick a song that no one would expect, because I listen to so many different styles that it's like... Picking something out of left field is really hard. XD

Despair thy charm;
And let the angel whom thou still hast served
Tell thee, Macduff was from his mother's womb
Untimely ripp'd.
Last night was crazy, crazy, crazy. And also awesome. But then, little else is to be expected when attending a Repo! shadow cast event at the Drafthouse, right? Right. I was a little worried I'd get bored out of my mind with Dr. Horrible (because I've seen it so many times, not because it sucks), but I was pleasantly reminded of how funny it really is--and how much more fun the movie becomes when watching it with a group. Also? Watching it with a shadow cast makes the movie a lot more fun, too! Vanity & Vein were really on point when it came to portraying the characters. The guy playing Captain Hammer was totally enjoying his role, and the shadow cast member who plays Nathan during Repo! (quite possibly my favorite of the performers) was Dr. Horrible. Score!
I really, really want to join the shadow cast. Even if I just play the victim during the "Night Surgeon" number, I want to be in a show. XD Apparently they practice the weekend before the week of performance, so that's something I can make, and they already kind of consider me one of the cast anyway... I can even probably host a rehearsal for the cast here, provided I clear it with the parental units. >.>
Speaking of, though! I was a little bothered by the fact that the guy actually playing the victim in "Night Surgeon" in the shadow cast wasn't doing much terrified thrashing or freaking out. D: Dude, you're about to get sliced up by the king of badass! You should be terrified as shit! Unless he was--ahem--paralyzed with fear. But it's so much better when they really throw into it.
