Easter weekend. Ahh, Easter weekend. Technically, a four-day weekend, but the only class I have on Fridays and Monday mornings is math, and night classes on Monday aren't cancelled. D:

I hope Dr. Sims is okay, though. He cancelled Monday's class and then Wednesday's class was cancelled even though he sent an e-mail that we would have a quiz then. I'm gonna send him an e-mail tomorrow. He's that rare math professor who knows how to teach the subject he enjoys without making me feel stupid. And he uses colored chalk for multiple graphs! And looks like Santa Claus! He's awesome all around. I hope he's okay. I haven't missed a math teacher since second grade, when I had the guy who taught math through card games and toys and raising class pets.

...well, no. Then there was Mr. Bassett in sixth grade (I think his name was Mr. Bassett), who taught math/science, but he was just a total bamf. I think that he was a former military man had something to do with his bamf-ness.

Anyway. I plan to spend the weekend catching up on sleep and writing til my fingers threaten to fall off. (I've decided not to do Script Frenzy, though I'm excited and intrigued to see what some of my friends will come up with.) At some point, I'll compile a list of grad schools and convince my mom a campus visit to SVA and the school in New Mexico (and any others I find of interest) is a good, important idea. >.>

I also plan to eat as many Cadbury eggs as I can get. Creme ones are classics and thus the best. Caramel ones are okay. Dark-chocolate filled ones are surprisingly bad. >.< But you can basically buy my love and affection with Cadbury eggs during the Easter season. They're just that fucking good!

sleep is good, easter, mmm cadbury eggs, chocolate
