It bears mentioning that this picture made me leave a comment twice over. Ladies and gentlemen, Terje the BAMF. Thank you, kaizersdaily.
Things I've done since last posting:
- Hang out with Veronica at the Alamo Drafthouse, seeing The Warriors, which is a good fucking movie and I'm wondering how I didn't see it sooner. I also met this guy who works in Alien Worlds/aka, the comic book/RPG/action figure store and nerd-chatted about comic books with him.
- Went back to the Drafthouse yesterday with Adrian and Tiny for TROMA Tuesday, except the power went out at the Drafthouse because of the weird weather, so we came home early. Found out the comic book guy I was talking to on Sunday only works weekends. Alas.
- Got my hair trimmed today. :D I have bangs I can actually wear without moving them to either side of my head because they're getting in my eyes. The girl who did my hair was awesome to talk to.
Things I will be doing later this/next week:
- Tomorrow: Putting up fliers for a garage sale we're hosting on Satruday morning/afternoon at my house. Also? Designing a shirt I want to make for Repo! next Friday.
- Friday: Wedding. I need to figure out an outfit. The dress code is "Sunday Best".
- Saturday: Garage Sale, then dinner at Dave & Busters with lab-rat-tish and her friends.
- Sunday: It's going to be a nerdy Sunday evening at the Drafthouse with lab-rat-tish and fluteplayette. Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog followed by Serenity. A night amongst Whedonites! It's going to be wonderful.
- Monday: Somehow honoring my character Viticus's birthday. >.> Yes, I'm that kind of writer. Perhaps I will honor him with a snippet, if not a full story. It's been a while since I've written about him...
- Friday: REPO! I'm hoping I still have a ride for this. >.> I still need to purchase a ticket.
---> I'm also hoping to make a shirt that says "WILL F for Z" on it. XD Because I'm thinking of doing a black/Zydrate blue theme for the outfit, and I want to look marginally cute and themed for the event. And like...make it off-the-shoulder and maybe cut up the sides a bit and string blue ribbon. I'll draw it out as best I can and scan it and show it. Personally, I think it's clever and not too inappropriate. My mom might ask what it means, but whatever.
Also? I'm terribly addicted to Mafia Wars on Facebook. And Restaurant City. And yes, even Typing Maniac. (Dammit, lab-rat-tish, you are still probably the highest score on my list. *shakes fist* I will get you! ♥)
