(no subject)
Hey all!
So this is my first weekend that I'm spending in port hope! Not sure that it's going to be that great, but whatever. I have my own space, and it's relaxing. Last night I went out w/Richard to his friend Curt's place. we just sat around and chatted and had some beers. then we had to help his friend Ryan get a truck bed off a trailer so that he could hook the trailer up to his car and take his four wheeler to the cottage. it took forever because they couldn't get the lights on the trailer to hook up to the car. Ryan ended up just not having them hook up properly and hoped they would fix themselves on the way up. Anyway, while they all did that, I was chatting w/another guy's gf and looking at the stars. the stars are really beautiful around here...I haven't often seen stars since I've lived in cities my whole life, but I love it when I'm at cottages and can look up and see the milky way. aaah...a perk of small town living.
oh! I got a fish! I've named him Dahli...took off the a from dahlia, like the flower. He's a betta, so he's very pretty. I just like having a pet for some company. not that a fish does a lot, but it's something. I wish I could have a kitty or a dog, buuuut that'll have to wait.
Let's see, what else...not a lot, I guess. see? not a lot to say while I'm living here...laaame. I'm just sitting around. I'll probably watch a movie tonight or something. Richard is out at a Jack and Jill tonight, so he'll probably be late.
