have you ever watched the show "Dead Like Me"? I enjoyed their portrayal of office jobs :) ... Then of course, there's always "The Office" too.

I've lived in a cube before, but I hate office polotics, it really demeans the value of human life seeing it in action. But it is fun to be the annoying guy with the music, I never went loud, I kept it at that you can sort of hear it volume outside of my cube, but that was the ticket since I was listening to Midnight Syndicate. LOL
I also collaged most of my cube wall space with dark images from HR Gieger, and others. Kind of impose that don't screw with me attitude.
Oh and absolutely make sure you can lock up everything when you are not at your desk.
