hi

I don't know if anyone still reads this... but Amarillo is freaking hot and windy all of the time. Lubbock isn't even this bad... but I suppose if I'm going to be working in a cubicle all day, there's no problem with it. The other day, the wind was gusting up to 40 or 50 mph and I could barely get out of my car. The wind kept trying to crush my legs and arms in the door :).

My roommates up here are pretty cool. They are both gone right now, so I'm kinda stuck here alone. I can't really go to the water parks alone... not as fun. I'll probably go to the mall (which beats Lubbock's and Corpus' malls). OH! There is this awesome pizza place up here called Basil Doc's. If you come visit me, we will have to eat there.

Work. Hmmm. Can't really say much, but apparently they are putting me on a tough project. Tough=tough for anyone who would attempt it, new or not. My supervisor wants me to come away with some good experience in my field. I may do some "lacky" work, but more than likely not. One lady, who didn't think he should make me do the particular project I have been assigned, told me not to get discouraged if things get too tough, because it's not my fault or shortcomings, it's the system and how it works (or doesn't). I'm glad I had warning. I do get stressy when something doesn't work out that I've worked so hard to make perfect.

My apartment/dorm is in the middle of no where. However, my work is in the middle of no where. WOOT!

Kris :)

Centralization at the national capital or within a business undertaking always glorifies the importance of pieces of paper. This dims the sense of reality.
