So I'm always quick to bash on my hometown/homestate but ya know what? The difference between getting a "crappy burger" for lunch in Hanover and a "crappy burger" for lunch here is quite enormous. Cuz a "crappy burger" here just means it was thrown together really quickly. Goddamn I love midwestern beef.
The weather here sucks on so many levels. Actually, it only sucks on one level; the level being the suckage of the weather. Yeah. I fucking hate this. It's like 80 or more degrees and humid. BLEEECCCCHHH. I know some people think that that constitutes perfect weather, but they can suck my enormous penis. 50 degrees and overcast is perfect weather. Humidity and heat is bullshit. Summer blows.
Second day of orgo down, 4 1/2 weeks to go for first term. Damn we're moving quickly. I figured out why the program is just as hard as Dartmouth's, if not worse. Cuz Creighton has the best chemistry dept. in the country. That's good, in a way. But it also means that the profs are good, know their shit and have high expectations. /sigh Maybe I'll survive...
Other than that, life is great. Found my class ring after misplacing it for, like, 2 weeks. Bought a gaming headset to play WoW and chat on Vent. Went on my first real MC raid yesterday and got 2 amazing items for my rogue. Am a happy initiate member in the guild Stoked now with Phil. Life is pretty sweet. Now I get to go study and write up my lab report for tomorrow. Oh yeah, did I mention labs meet twice a week for the summer program? Hooray for 2 terms worth of info in 10 weeks!
