two can keep a secret if one of them is dead

Last night I had one of the most horrifying nightmares, the kind that when you wake up from it you're afraid it was real for a moment.

It started out with a government warning, our earth was burning from the inside out, slowly it'd melt everything.  You could feel the heat rising from the ground.  They said it would take days for our earth to die out from beneath us, but they had a plan; they'd had a plan from the very beginning, implementing something called SAFE ZONES.  There were 5 safe zones, my family and I were designated to safe zone 5.

A lot of the dream was just panic, and packing; we were getting ready to leave our home, leave everything behind but a few essentials like clothing.  It was coming to the last day quickly, everyone was frightened.  The fear was almost palatable, and for some reason I was the only one thinking logically because the next thing I knew, my mother was announcing that we all had to go to the school.

Our last day on this earth, and we were forced to go to school.

The next thing I remember was being in a school gymnasium, doing suicide drills.  It was stressful, but it kept everyone's mind off of the upcoming disaster.  Then, there was a flash of light.  Something had gone horribly wrong.  Rain started pelting the school, so loud it was almost deafening, and without warning it started seeping through the windows.  The alarm went off.  Everyone panicked.

People were screaming, racing to get their things and head to whatever safe zone was nearest.  I remember heading into a classroom where I stored my things, panicking myself as I tried to remember where my younger sibling were located, and running into my old US History teacher.  We spoke, rushed, and I hugged him, telling him I missed him and that he'd always been my favorite before I left the room.

I can't recall what happened next, but I must have ran into my siblings and my mother as we headed to the safe zone.  Now, these safe zones weren't really safe.  They were just a means of getting to the spaceship, or whatever it was, that would get us away from the planet.   I'm fairly certain, however, that number 5 was destroyed.

While the first had such a seriousness to it, the second part just doesn't seem to fit.  We were packed into boxes the size of buildings, and three very large Aliens attacked the planet.  What happened to the melting earth?  Don't know.  I wonder if this was an entirely different dream that just got mixed in with the last one.  These aliens bore children, tiny little green and violet things that ate through people.  There was still a panic, people were screaming, but it almost seemed like a bad horror movie by this point because Homer Simpson is suddenly my dad.

Yeah.

He's driving to get to the safe zone (or what's left of it) where we're at, but he takes half of our flatscreen television with him before driving into a large car shaped hole that's filled with water.

HE'S SUDDENLY OKAY AND AT THE SAFE ZONE.  The aliens are defeated, and I can't remember how but it was stupid as hell.

AND THE CREDITS ROLL!  I'm not even joking, it was a movie inside of my dream.

Aside from that odd, and slightly terrifying dream, my main girl is coming over.  We're going to drink, talk, snack, and probably play the hell out of Left 4 Dead and Dead Space.  Maybe watch a ton of horror movies.  It is going to be the sweetness.

(life) dreams, (life) sandy is my girl
