OKay so I just came back from seeing Religulous with Justin... we enjoyed it. I mean, it was nothing particularly new or enlightening on my part and was pretty much what I expected it to be. Bill was not quite as objective as I had anticipated and a bit condescending at times I thought, but as were some of the people he talked to... and the look on th guy's face who said "you don't have to pass an IQ test to be part of the Senate"... just read of "oh, my, god, what did I just say?! D'oh!" HAHAHAHA priceless dumbassedness.

There were a lot of people at the theatre but almost no one was there for Religulous. The theatre the movie was being viewed in still had a fair amount of patrons but... nothing overwhelming which is disappointing that people are probably purposely avoiding this film (and for what? Beverly Hills Chihuahua?) but at the same time that's les of a crowd for me to deal with. And Justin and I still got to sit together. So, so yeah. Plusses. I don't NK missed out on anything though.

This movie was fun and all sorts of great but as I said not particularly enlightening... I mean either people agree with what he has to say or they don't already... I highly doubt a religious person is even going to want to see a movie whose sole purpose is to refute everything they believe in, and even if they DID I doubt anything here would convert them. Ad as for myself and people like me, most of us I assume are fairly comfortable and secure in our beliefs that this movie is just going to be like... "yeah, that's exactly how I feel!"

I know some people might have been in that uncertain, questioning phase that this movie may have helped with, and if that's the case then that's all sorts of awesomeness.

Anywho, we just got home about an hour ago and Justin was informed he got the job so YAY for J! Having job is good. Downside however is... now he may not be able to make FF, which is rather important to me that he be there. I wanna have a lot of fun at this con... and I'd much prefer to have someone who understands my brain like Justin does... because I don;t want to be in that place alone. It's far to wonderful not to share!

But aside from that, I may very well be sharing the room with Raz! So it'll be cool to have him as a roommate. All in all I am looking forward to an awesome party next weekend with a LOT of faces that I miss. so excited...
