idiots on the road

so today, my dad would have turned 55. crazy it's been that long. and i'm currently the ring keeper now. lol. for the last, what, 16 years, each of us has been keeping my dad's wedding ring. mom kept it for years, then my sister got it, now i have it. it's too big for my fingers so i've been keeping it on a necklace.

today was just a weird day. some jackass nearly killed me running a red light at like 55. all i wanted to do was turn left. thankfully i wasn't fully in the intersection, but still a scary thought. then of course the idiot who pulled out in front of me then puttered along. i nearly hit the idiot! geez. what is with people!

anyway, this collab fanfic i've got going on has got me writing more than ever. i've not only been writing the fic, but also my original story. i had lost inspiration for it for a while, stuck, but i'm happy to be back on it. i get a lot of writing done at work, since the builds now take longer to build and loading in debugs's a bitch. ah, but c'est la vie when it gets closer to art complete. and i gotta say, it's lookin' nice :3

anyway, i got a writing, fic, manga, icon, etc journal, box_no_naka, named after my first website. nothing's in it right now, but i'm sure i'll fill it up pretty quickly /o/
