i have felt my first major earthquake. 5.6 in milpitas. shook the house. made quite the interesting noise. kind of a creaking noise, like two cement blocks rubbing against each other. and then there was that strange jingling sound. not sure what that was. definitely quite the experience. i had thought that earthquakes would be easier to deal with

we all just kinda jumped and flailed a bit, trying to figure out what was going on. it made a really creepy noise.

yeah it was wild. never felt anything like that. or heard anything like that either. but from what the news is saying, not much damage happened despite it's rating.
