yaoicon was quite a fun con.
friday: apparently shinon is a very popular character. i got spanked XD;. the purple hair turned out well too. i'll finish that cos soon. just need a few more belts and piping =D. and the armor DX but that'll get done eventually. and then of course the elysium party! woo! duomonkey dressed as xigbar. we all played uno. it was fun.
saturday: quite fun too. i first dressed as marth, mako as eirika. didn't get as much attention, but it was fun with my cape and stuff. i finally got it to sit right.
then i was ema skye. we found other phoenix wright people and had a really fun gathering. after that was the masquerade. judge judy presiding over the trial of edgeworth: gay or straight? poor poor edgy lost. and then while stalling for technical difficulties, we improved with koi, making fun of chris hansen (how to catch a pedo show thingy) and had the audience rolling. XD we won wild card (judges choice) for our skit. we also partied with the group winners, koi, with pizza and uno =3
sunday: last minute ishida. with my poorly pleated thrift store pants and dress shirt and jei's emo-wig, but hey, i really looked like ishida. at the gathering, we had a large range of characters and only one duplicate (two uraharas). there was ukitake, ikkaku, hitsugaya, two uraharas, yoruichi, ichigo, orihime, isshin, karin, ryuuken, and myself. we got lots of crack photos, as well as "family" photos. the ryuuken and isshin were really funny and had fun tormenting poor ishida XD. ishida's gonna become part of my normal cosplay lineup. ftw.
and then of course the victory dinner at hometown buffet =3
