barcelona

so i went to barcelona this weekend...too bad it is the most amazing city in the world. i didn't even spend more than two whole days there and i fell in love...with barcelona! the architecture...the food ( which is so much cheaper than in aix) the people. it was all incredibly lovely. i definately know that i am going to spain next. i already am planning my ife there. i am going to go and find an awesome two thousand year old apartment in the gothic quarter and find a job at a charming cafe. then i will meet an olive skinned man with dark hair and black eyes, who doesn't shave but every few days, and we will lounge at the beach and live off of olives and paella and mojitos and never ever want anything else, except perhaps more sun and a few more hours in the day. the city left me speechless...it's like a combination of my two homes...the wide expansiveness of los angeles and the intricacy and vibrance of san francisco. i absolutely can't stop thinking about it. music is always playing there...AND YOU CAN FIND MEXICAN FOOD...GOOD MEXICAN FOOD! ugh i may never want to come back.

in other news...i've been toying with the idea of applying to transfer schools. i am 50 percent serious and 50 percent not. but i also have to take into account having to apply from france, which in my case is extra hard considering the whole audition aspect. having to prepare material without the support of an actual acting anything is somewhat frightening. and then if there is any sort of acting facility how able will they be to help me in english, for the purposes of the material. than the actual audition...i would have to go to london to do so...assuming that the school holds london auditions. aye me. does anyone have any suggestions. Schools? for me the only plausible options are new york boston or chicago, as la and san francisco are checked off. help! maybe barcelona has a good theatre program. and then part of me still loves san francisco...i just can't stand the politics that interfere with my education. argh. anyways if you have a chance to go to barcelona...GO!
