To: Ojii-chan and Obaa-chan of MMA

Thank you for helping bring these five people where they are today. Thank you for your kindness, your words, your dreams, your laughter, your stories, your hopes, your fears and everything else that you have shared with them and with us.

Without you in Arashi’s (and consequently, our) life, I feel as if they/we wouldn’t have been able to appreciate our own life as much as we do now. Beyond the withered hands, tired faces and aching backs, you have shown us a person who have journeyed bravely through the bittersweet story of reality. Behind those creases lies a belief that although life may have not been fair, the journey through it all was a good one nonetheless.

We will carry your words and feelings with us as we go through our own life.

Thank you for everything. Thank you Mago-Mago Arashi. Thank you Ojii-chan and Obaa-chan.

Watching this vid makes me all teary eyed and nostalgic. MMA was such a beautiful show where Arashi had learned to really feel. Every grandpa and grandma had a different story to tell, some were funny, some were sad, some were nostalgic and some were sweet. I feel as if I’ve lived a lot of lives when I watched this series. It’s so raw and, just like arashi, a beautiful imagery of life. <3

So, thank you again, obaa-chan, ojii-chan. Thank you. :’)
