The big 27....
Yesterday was my birthday, though the big celebration won't be coming till Sunday so I haven't cashed in any cool Birthday loot or stuff. Still, I did get a year older and I'm caught in the netherland of no longer being young, but not really being old. I suppose it's for the best, as I no longer really relate to kids beyond the odd manga and anime they watch and I like...
And nothing shows that better than my CD collection, which continues to get older as time goes along. Finally getting into a bit of prog rock a bit as I picked up Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon today. An interesting CD that has whet my appetite a bit, so more Prog rock suggestions would be welcome and acted on...At some point in the future...
Also sat down and watched some Lupin the 3rd on the weekend, the more recent Voyage to danger and 5 of the old TV series eps put out by Pioneer. The more recent Voyage to danger was okay, but the TV series was really enjoyable and fun stuff. It's a bit more episodic than modern series, but that adds to the charm of the series and the characters are enjoyable (And I do enjoy the less harsh version of the TV Lupin to the manga version).
