Summary: Ueda is scared to lose Ryo
Like every night Ueda sat on the couch and always in his own world. His lover Nishikido Ryo, is still at work. Ueda is waiting for Ryo like he always did every night.
Ryo came late. He opened the door without a noise. As he goes to the living room, he can’t help it but to grin. Ueda was resting comfortably on the couch and his using his hand as his pillow.
Ryo asked himself how a human can be so cute.
He went slowly and quietly to Ueda when suddenly a tear drop comes out from Ueda’s eye.
As Ryo saw the tear drop he panicked. Ryo run to Ueda and screamed.
“HIME? HIME! WHAT’S WRONG?!”
Ueda opened his eyes and got confused.
“Eh? Ryo? Okaeri...” he said low.
“Hime! Are you okay? Why are you crying?” Ryo asked while grabbing Ueda’s shoulders.
“Eh? I cry? Eto… I am only tired”
But Ryo didn’t believe him. Ueda was trembling hard and spoke very quietly. Ryo knows him good enough to know that Ueda can cry every moment very hard.
“Don’t lie to me. You have a nightmare, haven’t you? Tell me!”
But Ueda shook his hand away and said.
“It’s nothing”
Slowly Ryo is getting angry. He didn’t know that something was wrong. What the hell was Ueda thinking? That Ryo was a dumb? Ryo hated it when Ueda’s this mysterious.
“Ueda Tatsuya. Again don’t lie at me. What the hell is wrong?!”
Ueda get on Ryo’s nerves already. Ryo grabbed his shoulders again and raise his voice.
Ueda was on the verge of crying. He can’t hold it anymore. But Ryo shouldn’t know what is wrong with him. After all he had so much to do.
Ueda shook Ryo’s hands again away und run into the Bedroom. He locked the door.
Ryo knocked on the door and tried to calm down.
“Hime, please open the door. Tell me what happened?”
“Let me sleep”
Ryo saw red. His patience was always bad. He screamed against the door:
“TATSUYA! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? I WAS HAPPY BECAUSE I KNOW WHEN I COME HOME I CAN SEE YOU! BUT NO, THE PRISSY PRINCESS HAS HIS MOODS!!!”
Ueda cried. He cried low because he didn’t want Ryo to hear it.
The next morning Ryo woke up alone. He slept the whole night on the couch. He was in bad mood. The door from the bedroom is open but nobody was in it. He beat against the wall and muttered
“Tatsuya. What is wrong with you...?”
Ryo drove alone to the Jimusho. Ueda was in the KAT-TUN dressing room. He sat on the couch and was in his own world again. Maru sat down next to him and said
“Oi. Tat-chan?”
No reaction. The Attention from the rest of KAT-TUN was on Ueda too.
“Ueda? “
“Uepopu? “
“Uebo“
“Uebon? “
“TAT-CHAN“
Ueda blinked. Five pair of eyes stared at him.
“Are you okay, Tat-chan?”
“Eh sure” he smiled.
But everybody in the room could see that he wasn’t alright. His eyes were red. His Smile was faked. He smiled but it looked like he will collapse any moment.
“Don’t lie to us” Maru said without ulterior motives.
Ueda thought immediately about Ryo’s words.
“Don’t lie to me”
Only the thought about Ryo made him sad. For a short while he had a face distorted by pain. His eyes were glassy. But he didn’t cry. He wouldn’t cry. He will be strong.
“Have you had a fight with Ryo-chan?” Kame asked careful.
“No” he said fast.
At that moment the manager came in and KAT-TUN hadn’t had a chance to ask more.
Ryo was in the NEWS dressing room and went circles. His atmosphere said
“Don’t talk to me, don’t even dare to look at me or I will kick your ass”
NEW and KAT-TUN have the same break time.
So Ryo goes to the KAT-TUN dressing room. He knew both of them are in a bad mood. But he misses Ueda so much. He couldn’t stand it not to see Ueda. While walking to the KAT-TUN’s dressing room he thought
“It was a nightmare, only a nightmare. Why we made a mountain of a molehill?”
In KAT-TUN dressing room everything’s fine like every day. Kame teased Jin, Junno played with his PSP and Maru and Koki talked. But where was Ueda?
At that moment Ueda came in. He runs literally into Ryo. They looked at each other an endless minute. Ueda’s face was distorted with pain again. Only for a second but long enough for Ryo to see. Ueda stumbled backwards and run away. Ryo stood there speechless. He wanted to run after him but someone holds him.
Five pairs of eyes who are looking at Ueda are now looking at Ryo.
“Ryo-chan, I don’t know what happened but Ueda is strange not only today but for two to three weeks” Jin said.
Ryo froze. For weeks?! And he never noticed it? How could that be? What was Ueda’s problem? Why he kept it secret?
Ryo runs after Ueda. He didn’t know where he was. He searched all over the place. Asked every Juniors he saw and searched in every corridor only to find is lover.
He found him finally in a corridor. Ueda didn’t see Ryo because Ryo stood behind him.
“Tatsuya” he said.
Ueda froze. He turned slowly to Ryo. Suddenly he runs away from Ryo. Ryo was a bit surprised but in the next second he’s running after him. Both of them run through the whole building. Ueda heard that the steps behind him came every second closer. Then somebody hold his wrist.
“Please, don’t run away again Hime…”
But Ueda tried to run away. Ryo grabbed Ueda’s other wrists and nail them next to Ueda’s head against the wall. Ueda looked to the side. His hair hid his eyes.
“Look at me, Tatsuya”
He didn’t look.
“Tatsuya.”
He didn’t react.
“Tell me what’s wrong with you?”
He didn’t say anything.
“WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU TATSUYA?!” Ryo is angry again.
“WHY ARE YOU IGNORING ME? DAMN TATSUYA! WHY CAN’T YOU TELL ME? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG?! TATSUYA!!!”
Ryo didn’t know what to say as Ueda looked directly into his eyes. He saw his eyes. His hurtful eyes full of pain. Ryo’s heart cracked into 100 pieces as he saw these eyes. His madness was flown away. He can’t bear to see those eyes.
“Ryo.”
Ueda said and break the silence
“I haven’t got a nightmare. I had a wonderful dream with you in it.”
Ryo didn’t understand. “I didn’t get it. Why did you cry when you dreamed about me? Don’t you love me anymore?”
Ueda shook his head hard.
“NO! I said a wonderful dream. I love you. I love you so much. I wouldn’t love another man for the rest of my life. But... But every day when I see that you looked at him… or he looked at you. I can’t bear it anymore. I am so scared to lose you. I can’t bear it…”
Ueda cried. He cried so hard that his whole body trembled. He cried and sobbed hard.
Ryo’s heart was pain. It hurts to see his Hime cry.
“But… Who? Who is the guy I looked at?”
“…Tegoshi…”
Ryo was confused.
“I saw it. I saw it when you said to him ‘I love you’. You never said to me that you love me. Only one time. When you confessed to me that you loved me. It was the first time and the last. For a whole year!” he sobbed.
Ryo understand his feelings. “But Hime. Why you didn’t you say something since the beginning?”
“HOW?! Ryo, you have so much work to do. You’re busy every time and you slept too little. I don’t want to get on your nerves...I don’t want to lose you. I love you too much!!”
Ryo relaxed his grasp as he heard those words. Ueda took the chance, shook his hand away and run, sobbingly.
Ryo only stood there. He thought again:
“How can a human be so cute?!”
Then he runs after him again. He knew where Ueda was. He run and run. He runs till he was on the rooftop from the Jimusho Building. It rained. Ueda sat in a corner. His face hid in his knees, which were close to his body. His arms were around his knees.
He’s wet.
Ryo went slowly to him. He kneels in front of him and hugged him gently.
Ueda sobbed.
“Hime. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you more than anything. You are my heart. You are my life. You are my Soul. You are simply all for me. I don’t know what to do without you. Every time, when I see you, I ask myself, how can a human be so wonderful, beautiful and cute? Before I met you, my world was grey. I don’t know how I lived my life before I met you. You make my world colorful. When I see you my heart hurts because I love you so much. I am sad when I can’t touch you. I never want to share you with anyone. Hime I love you more than anything. I only practiced with Tegoshi. He’s only helping me. I will never love anybody except you. But when I see you, the Tatsuya who is so beautiful, so cute I can’t think clear. It’s so hard for me to say I love you because I don’t know how. But please believe me. I love you Hime. Please don’t cry. Your tears hurt my heart. Please smile for me. When you smile I am so happy. Then the world looks so beautiful. Hime I love you.
Our Anniversary is in a week. But I can’t wait.”
He pulled out a Ring.
“Hime. Will you marry me?”
Silence.
“Yes Ryo. Yes I will”, he said crying harder than before.
Ryo pressed his lips gently against Ueda’s Lips.
“I love you Hime. Thank you for your existence.”
“I love you too, Ryo”
Ryo hugged him again. “Please. Don’t hide your problems to me. Promise me”
“Then don’t hide your feelings anymore.”
“Promise”
