on the j-o-b
Well, started my job this morning. So far, I almost feel like I've jumped into something way over my head. I have the specs, plans, and manual detailing the renovation of Fort Yukon's gymnasium sitting on my desk, and not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do with them. This is actual, real world application of what I'm going to be studying the next few years, and I'm learning/doing it now. Kinda crazy, and a wee bit intimidating, to be honest. I think I'll be able to figure out what goes on and the like, but still in that daunting view of a mountain before you climb it stage.
On the home front I have mostly moved in to Justin's place. Got a PO Box and a cell phone, and now just have to sift through my things and see what I need to keep over the summer, and what I can stash away in storage. Oh, if you folks would like my new mailing address and phone number, please drop me a line and I'll be happy to call/e-mail my new contact info to you. Well, time to continue munching on my lunch before doing the HR paperwork later today. Matane.
