Fairbanks Times

well, life's picking up speed up here in Fairbanks. Have to get up early every weekday from now on- but should be good for me. I'm working on the ProCard for the university system, aka the credit cards given to university employees to make purchases <5 grand with each month. Last year saw roughly 19 million dollars worth of purhcases made with the cards, and I get to help with all the logistics of making the cards work (random audits, processing applications, maintaining files, etc.). Classes go well- have a chem test this eve which should be interesting.
Old Man Winter's come again to the land, and his breath fills the wind with a sharp tang. That and the snow sprites have been flirting with us- they danced most of the night long, and then fled this day, leaving a few bastions behind. It was really neat looking at the trees on my way to lab this morning- the north side of each tree was frosted with a layer of last night's storm. And this afternoon's seen the occasional spat of flurries frolicking in the wind. Gotta love the smell of snow ^_^.
