I HIKED 4 MILES UPHILL YESTERDAY, then 4 back down. i had an awesome time. it was my goal to make it all the way to the top of Bar Trail, so i had to play little, 'i'm a faery, this is where i live and i'm having fun' games.
i was aboot to quit 1/2 the way up, and then this old grey haired man walked to me and tells me how his 6 year old son made it to the top withoot and prodding or encouragement or whatever. he had tears in his eyes fromm being all proud. so i went on to the top.
