I don’t mean to be abrupt and jump right into it here, but don’t some of you sometimes feel as if "Life", despite its unpredictability, struggles, triumphs, joys, etc., seems a bit too…conventional? As if we are all tools that do not merely serve our own free wills but the undetected yet influential will of another? No I don’t mean God or ( Read more... )

If it does not get posted right away, I do apologize. It's 9:45am, I didn't sleep last night, and my mind is turning to mush. This is pretty close to the time that I get my best writing done, but I fear I peaked earlier in a poorly executed, yet meaningful, letter to Kristen's mother I wrote an hour ago, and I may have blown the rest of my creativity on my first response to your entry; however, I did make bullet points of all my general ideas, so I should be able to write my response at any time. Anyway, I miss you, sport. We need to build some kind of writing- gabble- bit- banter- challenge- thing for the two of us. I want to hear more from you. I also love and appreciate your responses to my writing more than almost anyone because you always get it and see my subtleties. As a writer, you want your stuff to be good enough that not just anyone is really going to get it, ideally, any literate human being will get something out of it, but the things that make your piece of writing as amazing as it is and as unique and beautiful- what makes it more than just words but art itself- you want only a certain quota of people to truly understand. You want it to be the people you respect as artists and literaties, and just people you respect to really understand its art. you want them to dissect it, and see all of your mental processing and awe in your power of word. anyway, i'm wasting more of my mental writing period that peaks before mush, so i'm done.
