Concerning: overall episode
This episode! Oh my god. This episode! See, I liked most of the previous episodes, but this! this! WHEDON. YOU'RE ALIVE. There was fighting and issues and amazingness all around. Bad thing was the pacing; it went ridiculously fast and could definitely have been split into more episodes. However, I explain this horrible pacing by pretending that everything that happened in this episode was actually supposed to happen over the course of the original five, but since FOX can sometimes be idiots, they forced Whedon to make a lot of episodes he really didn't want to do.

Concerning: the Sierra rape
Oh my god. what the fuck. At first, I really did think it was Victor, and then when we learned it was the handler? ;alksdjf I have never felt so creeped out in my life. "Lift up your dress." (Also, PS: handler is ridiculously stupid. he was going to rape her behind blurry glass? asshole, rapist AND idiot.) I really am horrified by this situation, though (plot line?). I mean, it should be expected that some handlers will slip through the psych evaluations, but that it actually happened, and to Sierra? When she screamed when Victor touched her shoulder... oh, Sierra. And when she was on the medical table with her legs bent? My skin crawled. However, I am still pissed that we only see women being taken advantage of. What about the men?

Concerning: Victor/Sierra
I'm sorry, this is a really, really bad segue from the previous topic, but ;alskdjf I ship them so hardcore. Victor pretends they're married. Do you realize how adorable that is? And the ending shot of them, reading (er, looking) at a book together?

Concerning: Mellie/TahmohBallard; Mellie-the-Sleeper-Agent
Finally! Mellie and Tahmoh Ballard got together! I have been shipping them ever since, like, Episode 1 or whenever Mellie was introduced. I have a hardcore sympathy for the shy girl-that-is-a-friend who appears to have a one-sided crush on a guy because said guy is an idiot. When Ballard initially kisses Mellie, I wanted to hit him, though, because he -definitely- was trying to somehow deny the client's words that he just wanted Caroline to want Ballard. And Mellie ): She has such self-esteem issues. I didn't like how they pretty much immediately went from a kiss of not-really-romantic-origins to sleeping together. I expected their relationship to progress a bit slower. I'm an old-school romantic like that. However, I guess it would be expected since, y'know, MELLIE'S MADE FOR BALLARD. OH MY GOD. I mean, I knew that Whedon had originally made Mellie an Active, but I thought he had changed that, and when he hinted that we'd see "November later on" I thought he meant that the handler would bring Mellie back to the Dollhouse and have her changed. NOT "THERE ARE THREE FLOWERS IN A VASE. THE THIRD ONE'S BLUE/YELLOW/WHATEVER."

Which, by the way, is such an awesome code phrase.

Anyways, yeah, I really want to hit Ballard because, seriously? Worse FBI agent ever. Who the hell tells their neighbour such sensitive information? However, if I take into account that Mellie was created most likely to have all the characteristics that Ballard trusts? Yeah, I guess I could see him caving. He's still a shite agent.

Back to Mellie the sleeper agent. I AM SO EXCITED. Oh my god. This is so amazing. SO SO AMAZING. Again, I did not appreciate the (again) attempted rape on a woman, but the kickassery? The plot twist? All for it.

Concerning: DeWitt, Dominic, and DeWitt/Dominic
I am hot for DeWitt. She is a woman of steel and beauty and power and she is wow. I love that, in her own twisted way, she has this honor and belief of responsibility that she'll sacrifice her own reputation in the Dollhouse World so that others wouldn't suffer the same fate as Sierra.

Dominic, you are a crazy bastard who'll kill an Active because you have tunnel vision but will show such devotion to your boss that I can only squee.

"You played a good hand."
"Wrong. I played a bad hand well. There is a distinction."

Furthermore, Dominic is totally admirin' DeWitt. And overprotective! Loved the pistolwhip against the handler when the latter approached DeWitt with sexual suggestions. DeWitt/Dominic, too, do I ship. And DeWitt completely wears the pants in the relationship (to, y'know, follow the stereotype that there's always a dominant partner in a relationship, but it is so true in this case.)

Concerning: the client
asd'fljasdf;lkj DDDDD: I just! 1. good actor. 2. a;lsdkfjas;dlkfj My heart broke. He's just - just - and Echo going "It's not finished" just so she can go back to the man to give him his day with Rebecca and him caressing the wedding ring on her finger and ;alsdkjf why are you so sad ):

Concerning: the "other" organization
Dude, it cannot be the Asian girl. That is way too obvious. It can't be, right? I forget: does Whedon like doing things really obviously like that?
