Christmas Evening
Yeah, it is Christmas, and what a nice day it was.
Mellow, that is how I would describe today, we opened our gifts yesterday and today it was me cooking our big dinner that would included the following:
A 13 lb turkey
Mashed potatoes
Gravy
a Salad
stuffing
green beans
Oh did I mention that this is to be eaten by myself, a 12 y/o and 17 y/o girls? Yeah, needless to say we have a lot left over. So why did I make all of this, well I got a turkey free when I was shopping for Thanksgiving and having never baked one myself I thought I'd give it a go. It turned out amazing, heck, my daughter said it was picture perfect in the way it looked. If you want to know how I did it, email me and I'll gladly share.
