Happy Birthday to Satnam
Sunday was my 39th birthday, and as I was driving home from my parents home with my kids I realized just how little I celebrate my own birthday anymore.
I had gotten many kind wishes, Lynn threw me a small party (I didn't really want a big one) and got some more liquor to add to my bar along with a "Bod-Squad Calender".
Next July 22nd is the "big four-oh" as a few of my friends and both my sisters reminded me, and again I am so complacent about it. I remember the "big three-oh" and it felt like just another day to me; so I wonder what it is with me. Perhaps the birthday of my oldest daughter on the 17th of July takes some steam out of it for me, she will be 18 five days before I turn 40. I am already thinking of a great party for her; not even worried about mine...hell it will be on a Monday anyway.
