BIKE KILL!
Was fucking nuts.
And amazing.
I wish I had a camera, but luckily everyone in the universe was covering it (even the New York Times) and did all the documentation for me.

BTW the luchador explaining what Bike Kill is is my friend Chris.
First of all, the sheer magnitude of it was incredible. Thousands of crusty bike punks from all over the northeast gathering together in order to fuck shit up. And that they did.
Secondly, the amount of explosions and fire was seriously at like Mad Max levels. This dude was periodically running into the crowd with a flame-thrower rearing its burny, ugly head.
There were fireworks everywhere, mostly aimed directly at other people, or into crowds, except for one aimed at the American flag waving proudly from the Elementary school (?!?!?!?) where all this was taking place in front of. It sparked a bit, I was pretty sure it was gonna catch on fire, which I'm sure would have incited drunken, approving hysteria from these kids. Sadly it did not go up in flames.
Finally, this shit was just plain ludicris. It took place in a cul de sac wedged between a elementary school and a home depot in Bed-Stuy, where up until a few years ago you would never see a white person, and even now they are few and far between. I cannot even imagine what all the school kids would be coming back to on Monday. Earlier there was a food fight that left the ground covered in a slippery, thick slime, not to mention all the blood, piss and guts that would be left over after all this mindless destruction.
We had essentially an organized riot, with police just chilling out front, and ambulances all around for all those who would periodically hurt themselves, but for the most part they left us alone. Oh and the characters, oh the characters. Besides there being dreamy, dirty bike punks galor, there was children (WHO WOULD PUT THEIR CHILD IN HARMS WAY LIKE THAT),
a hipster Hassidic Jew (notice the PBR can in his hand),
and people dressed like luchadors, other general weird shit, or uh...some dude really nothing at all. I coulda stood not to see that.
