I started and beat Portal last night.  It's amazingness.  It seriously makes you think in a completely different way than any other game does.  I think it's kind of a creepy game, too, toward the end at least.  It's now on my list of "games that all those people who think video games are not a valid form of entertainment and/or art need to play before they can have a valid opinion".  I need to actually come up with that list one day.

Plus, now I get to listen to Still Alive and completely get the song.

It's funny too because back when I was watching InuYasha on Adult Swim they showed the commercial for the Orange Box every night.  So I got to the point where I knew the whole thing and I would recite it to Dave all the time.  "What's inside the Orange Box?  "The best game of all time."  "Brain melting offbeat genius."  "The deepest multiplayer game of the year." The Orange Box.  Rated T to M."  Of course, I would try my best to say it in that robotic voice from the commercial, which I now know is GLaDOS.

Now I think I'll finish KOTOR.  I think I mentioned in one of my first entries way back at the beginning of the semester that I was going to finish my dark side game on KOTOR.  Well, I've really been too busy to play it.  Now that I'm on spring break I figure I should have time to finish it.

So I worked Saturday night 8pm-6am.  As I'm sure you know, this was when daylight savings time began.  We had a promotional thing that everyone who came in between 1am and 2am would get two free burgers.  So some lady came through at 12:30am wanting her free burgers.  She mentioned it to Amelia and Amelia asked me and I told her, "It's not 1am yet, so I can't give them to her."  So she called the 1-800 number and then called the store and I tried explaining to her 3 times how the time change occurs at 2am.  She just did not get it, she was like, "Then there is no 1am."  I was like, "Nooo.... At 2am it becomes 3am."  The 1-800 calls are all forwarded in e-mail and Bernice calls all of the people who call, so I wonder if she is also going to try to explain it to her, too.  I hope that we don't have this promotion again next year, because trying to explain daylight savings time to people who are just too stupid to understand it is lame.

I think I will go now.  Dave and I are planning on having a nice day out today.
