I am back and it is 60 degrees in this house. My mom refuses to turn on the heat because she says it is too expensive. So I can't feel my fingers

Do you have gas or electric heat? I had to turn my heat on this week and I am really scared of my electric bill owning me.

We have electric heat, and at the point I would pay for the electric bill myself, I am so freezing.
