Wow, that was helpful.

Haha I got on here and when I clicked to post an entry it asked me if I wanted to start from a saved draft or something. I didn't remember even starting/saving anything, but I said "yes" to see what it was ... who knows it might be something profound, right?

What was this elusive saved draft lurking in the world of LiveJournal?? It was: the letter "S." That's it.

So "me," really.

Le sigh. I have so much going on right now, and I never post. I'm horrible. Let's see, this semester's almost over. I have got to go to UHCL tomorrow to officially change my major with them. (I never got around to it since I went back to COM this semester.) Anyway I hope to talk to an advisor while I'm there and God I hope I get my grant for the semester! I've already decided I'm probably going to suck it up and accept a student loan. (I've been trying to avoid them like the plague!) It's just too hard to get ahead when you can only work part time because of school, and then school itself eats up such a big chunk of what I make!

( ^ How boring am I!?)

Work is fine. I'm still teller-ing it up at the credit union. I like it because random people tell you all their business all day long. Really, that's like my favorite part. And people are so funny. And when I say they're funny, I don't mean like when they answer, "is there anything else I can do for you?" with, "Not unless you can give me a million dollars!" ATTN: GENERAL PUBLIC!! THAT IS NOT A FUNNY JOKE! IT'S RETARDED AND I'VE HEARD WAY MORE TIMES THAN ANY PERSON SHOULD HAVE TO!!!!!!! No really though, even when they're pissed I find it awesome in some way, shape, or form. LOL. Really I think I've grown immune to that kind of stuff after working as a waitress. That's a job I do not miss. I miss all the people I used to work with though. And the old school Cinemark crew--my first job. Funny how that popcorn smell seriously does not wash out of a uniform!!

La familia's super. Ethan turned two in March. He's so much fun and so smart! He's a really good-natured kid ... he loves to please. I try to spend as much time with him as possible, I kind of feel guilty about working sometimes. I just always try to make the weekends really special. Like this weekend we went and flew kites and played on the playground on Saturday, and then we all went to the Astro's game on Sunday. It was fun, but the kite-flying/playground adventure was better than the baseball game. We had what would have been fantastic seats if we would have had some sunscreen. The roof was open and we were so close to the field that there was no shade from the upper level. We didn't want him to get burned, so we just walked around the park pretty much the whole game. My calves are sore!!

I'm going to read Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee for a paper in my multi-culture class. I know it's supposed to be one of the saddest books you can possibly read ... but I've always heard it's a "must-read." I need to start on it though b/c it's due May 7th and it's not like I just have all this extra leisurely reading time available, LOL.

Well I'm writing a novel myself now, so I'm going to give it up ... byeeeeeeeee =)
