I have been sitting by myself in the cave known as my room for a few days now. I have been venturing out into the living room for a short time only to be disappointed. Today I was forced out due to work. Oh well. Whats up, sunlight?
My cousin went to the ER for stomach pains on Saturday only to be diagnosed with colon cancer. She had to have emergency surgery for the cancer. It went well, but immediately after the surgery, she had a massive stroke and is now paralyzed - more than 50% of her body... When they did more tests to see the extent of the damage from the stroke, they found polyps on her lungs.
Stomach pains to colon cancer, colon cancer to surgery, surgery to stroke, stroke to lung cancer.
To top it off, they need to move her to Mass. General, but they can't because she is not stable enough.
So...hopefully she lives.
