Relationships
+ I posted this on tumblr a few weeks ago and I thought I would post it here as well. Have you noticed that since Tumblr started, everyone has stopped posting picspams on here anymore? Anyway, this is more of a "top 14 ships from new shows" than just new ships. Fourteen is a pretty good number, I kinda feel bad for not putting ships like Stefan/Elena or Jeff/Britta on the list because I like them as well but I don't necessarily want them together. I find them cute and all but I wouldn't be mad if they weren't together, does that makes sense?
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this, I sure as hell enjoyed doing it and feel free to give me your opinion!
14. Rachel & Puck - Glee
They get so much hate, that's insane! I often feel the need to defend them because come on, they're not that bad. I really liked them in ‘Mash-Up’ and I think they have so much potential but Ryan Murphy is so focused on the ~epicness that Rachel/Finn is supposed to be that I don’t think he will go there. And while I liked their scenes in ‘Reputation’, it didn’t do much for me because it felt like RM only wrote these scenes just to say “There, you got what you wanted, happy?”. RM, if you really wanted to give puckeberry fans “what they want”, try to build something. But anyway, I'm hoping for some R/P action in the future.
13. Jules & Grayson - Cougar Town
I really like these two and if you're not watching Cougar Town I suggest you give it a try because it's quite good. It's amazing how this show has evolved, it's not a show about Cougars anymore but a show about a group of friends having weird hobbies and loving wine.
12. Matt & Caroline - The Vampire Diaries
Matt and Caroline were my first TVD ship, I liked them immediately. I just wish Matt would take their relationship a little more seriously ‘cause he seems to think their relationship is doomed. But they’re cute and hot (c’mon, the make-out scene on Matt’s couch? HOT.) I hope they have even better scenes next season.
11. Damon & Katherine - The Vampire Diaries
I CAN’T wait to see Katherine next season. Katherine/Damon would be so hot and dangerous. Idk, two evil people having some kind of explosive relationship, I want to see that.
10. Aria/Ezra - Pretty Little Liars
I ship it hard. The main reason I still watch this show is Aria/Ezra. We’ve only seen 9 episodes, that’s why they’re only #10 (and also the fact that I'm afraid their relationship won't last because well, he's the teacher and she's the student) but I like them A LOT.
09. Cate & Ryan - Life Unexpected
Unpopular opinion, I think. They didn’t do much for me at first but they really grew on me. I like the fact that they’re not just what comes between Cate and Baze, they had good shipery scenes and they’re just really cute.
08. Cate & Baze - Life Unexpected
Just because I like Cate/Ryan doesn’t mean I don’t like them, people should try multi-shipping, you're always get your way :) I love them and I’m 99,99% sure they’re endgame. I wonder how they're going to handle things since Cate & Ryan got married but I'm sure they're not over.
07. Will & Emma - Glee
I'm kinda weird when it comes to this ship. I liked them at the beginning of the show, then I lost interest in them and then 'sectionals' happened and I fell in love with them again. Pretty much the same thing happened during the back 9. Let's hope season 2 is good for them.
06. Puck & Quinn - Glee
I don’t like the way their relationship was handled in the back 9 but I do believe they have potential. I want more of them in the 2nd season, and not just them being cute in the background.
05. Damon & Elena - The Vampire Diaries
I love them. I love the bickering, the sexual tension, the build-up. I do want them to be together at some point but not right now, it’s too soon and it still needs more build-up but I can’t wait.
04. Jeff & Annie - Community
So much chemistry, so much cuteness. I love that Jeff is acting all cute and shy when he's having a moment with her.
03. Abed & Troy - Community
I feel weird putting them on this list since I don’t ship them romantically but I love their bromance SO MUCH. Forget about this little Britta/Jeff/Annie triangle, they are the OTP of the show.
02. Rachel & Jesse - Glee
These two *sighs* I knew from the beginning I would ship them hard because hello, it's Jgroff and Lea. They were awfully cute and then the writers screw it up with their complete lack of continuity. But I still love them, I mean look at them, the chemistry is undeniable.
01. Kat & Patrick - 10 Things I Hate About You
Okay so I cheated a little with this one since it premiered last summer but I only started watching in like November so I say it counts. They were the reason I was watching the show, they had so much chemistry and all these great moments. I‘m gonna miss them. SO MUCH.
