I got season 3 for Christmas and while I was watching I thought "I've really got to picspam those two". They are my ultimate favorite TV couple. I'm to lazy to introduce properly this picspam.

I love the fact that the very first Rory scene of the season is a Rory/Jess scene.

3.02 Haunted Leg
Just look at Rory in the 1st cap, she's obviously crushed to see him fooling around. (Why so pretty Alexis ?)
Rory : Yeah, so me coming back here and just seeing you with Shane just kind of threw me for a sec.
Jess : I'm sorry, did I hear from you at all this summer ? Did I just happen to miss the thousands of phone calls you made to me, or did the postman happen to lose all those letters you wrote to me ? You kiss me, you tell me not to say anything, very flattering, by the way. You go off to Washington, then nothing. Then you come back here all put out because I didn't just sit around and wait for you like Dean would've done ? And yeah, what about Dean ? Are you still with him ? 'Cause last time I checked, you were, and I haven't heard anything to the contrary. Plus, the two of you walking around the other day like some damn Andy Hardy movie. Seemed to me like you're still pretty together. I half expected you to break into a barn and put on a show.
Rory : When did you see me with Dean ?
Jess : At that stupid summer insanity plea the town put on.
Rory : Oh, I'm surprised you could see anything with Shane's head plastered to your face.
Jess : You didn't answer me.

I'm pretty sure this scene is on everyone's favorite Rory/Jess scenes list. I mean, wet!Rory, wet!Jess, the eyesex. It's just a treat for the eyes.
3.06 Take the Deviled Eggs...
Rory : Just get in the car and go, Jess.
Jess : I didn't start this.
Lane : Well, you started it when you wrecked Rory's car.
Jess : Tell your friend to walk it off.
Rory : You walk it off.
Jess : I'm trying to drive off.

Jess : Geez, how Andy Griffith is this town that people get so excited by a car ?
Rory : It's not the car, it's who's got the car.

Jess : I noticed Rory's not dancing with Dean.
Lane : Nothing gets past you, does it.

This line is seriously one of my favorite on the show, you go Jess !
Rory : There they go again ! God, I swear, why can't they just get a room ? Or forget a room - get a park bench, or a doorway, or even a strategically placed telephone pole would probably suffice. I mean, girls like Shane - what is it with them ? Don't they see what they look like ? I know they have mirrors.
Jess : Hey, you talking about me ?
Rory : No.
Jess : I heard you mention Shane.
Rory : Shane isn't you.
Jess : Shane concerns me.
Rory : Shane concerns me, too - and all women, for that matter.
Jess : You got a problem here ?
Rory : Nope. Just a little sick of seeing the two of you sitting there. If you're not gonna participate, then why don't you just leave ?
Shane : That works for me. Let's go.

Rory : Why not ?
Jess : Because I'm not ready to go.
Rory : Oh really ?

Rory : What ?

Dean : Oh, please ! You've been into him since he got to town, and I have spent weeks - months, actually - trying to convince myself that it wasn't true, that everything was fine between us. But now I know that I was an idiot. You're into him and he's into you, and Shane, who by the way, should be listening to this ‘cause it's so damn obvious.
Rory : What's obvious ? What did I do ?
Dean : Everyone can see, Rory ! Everyone. And I'm tired, but I'm over it, so go ahead, go. Be together. There's nothing standing in your way now, ‘cause I'm out.
I can't blame Dean for this because Rory had it coming. It was obvious that she had feelings for Jess and everyone knew but she couldn't deal with it so she stayed with Dean. I love how Jess feels sorry for her, I mean he should be happy, the boyfriend of the girl he wants is breaking up with her but he still feels for her (while I'm sure he's all happy on the inside).
Jess : Dean's a jerk. Yelling at you like that, breaking up in front of everybody... the guy's a total jerk.
Rory : No, he's not. He's right. Everything he said. All those things about you and me, all those things about me lying to him, and messing with his head. He was right. Well, wasn't he ? Fine, he was right about me, then. Now go away.
Jess : He was right. About all of it.
Rory : So, what now ?
Jess : You're definitely broken up with Dean ?
Rory : Yeah, I'm definitely broken up with Dean.
Jess : Okay. I have to go take care of something then.
One of my favorite scene, and one of my favorite line "He was right. About all of it.". We knew they liked each other but they finally told each other they did. Took them long enough !

I kinda love the awkwardness of this scene. You'd think they would jump at each other after wanting it for so long but yet they feel embarrassed because they whole thing becomes real when they kiss. I'm not surprised by Rory's awkwardness but Jess' on the other hand is quite surprising. I mean, he's pretty confident and I think he feels embarrassed because it's the first time he's with a girl he truly cares about, he truly loves. So that's kind of a big step for him. And btw, their lips touch for like 1 second so this could definitely count as their first kiss as a couple.
I love how her face brightens up when she sees him.
Rory : You going to smoke that or mind meld with it ?

Rory : Yeah, here we are. So, tell me, what's your decision about smoking that depending on ?
Jess : On what's gonna happen.
Rory : When ?

Their first kiss as a couple. And man, what a kiss ! I seriously had a hard time selecting the caps (I think I've made about 120 caps of the kiss. Narrowing it down to 16 was hard !) And yes, this part definitely works !
3.09 A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving

I know the dialogue isn't just about Rory/Jess but there are some Lorelai's lines that I cannot cut.

Look at him, he doesn't even know where he is after that kiss. I've never noticed it before but that kiss is super hot.
3.10 That'll Do, Pig
Rory : You know what just occurred to me ? That we are very fortunate to have good teeth.

Rory : Can you imagine if braces were involved in this interaction ?
Jess : It'd be a bloodbath.
Rory : I can't catch my breath.

Walking and holding hands and making out. All that, at the same time. And Rory, the guy is pratically eating your neck, so shut up and enjoy.

This scene could have been awesome but Jess had to be a jerk. He totally should have told Rory about his father instead of acting like a jerk. I mean, of course they were going to have sex eventually, Rory told Lorelai about it which means she was definitely thinking about it but just not like that. And I can't believe that of all her boyfriends, Jess is the only one she didn't do it with. Because man, these two would have had hot sex.
And of course, Dean is there to rescue her *rolleyes*
3.20 Say Goodnight, Gracie
Rory : Mom, can I just meet you at the church ?
Lorelai : Why, what are you planning ? Is it finally payback time ?

This scene is so sad. Her face... she knows it's over. And Jess didn't handle the break-up well, at all. He could have said something instead of taking off without a word, I'm sure Rory would have helped him or supported him. I'm convinced that these two didn't end up together because of bad timing. Because of his father, Jess wasn't in a good place, he couldn't deal with his a father and a girlfriend.
They didn't end up together in season 6 because Rory was totally OOC in season 5 and 6 imo. And also because Milo was also a guest-star I guess xD. But anyway, in my mind and in many literati's minds, they did meet at Luke and Lorelai's wedding, got back together and now own a bookstore or something. Lorelai has her own room above the garage.
3.21 Here Comes the Son
Lorelai : Okay, first of all, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I just thought with all the stuff you were doing, maybe I should wait.
Rory : What's going on ?
Lorelai : Jess is gone.
Rory : Gone where ?
Lorelai : I don't know. Luke knows, but he didn't tell me. But he doesn't seem to think he's coming back.

You could've told me that you were having trouble in school and weren't going to graduate, and that your dad had been there, but you didn't. And you ended up not taking me to my prom and not coming to my graduation and leaving again without saying goodbye again, and that's fine, I get it, but that's it for me. I'm going to Europe tomorrow and I'm going to Yale and I'm moving on. And I'm not going to pine. I hope you didn't think I was going to pine, okay ? I think... I think I may have loved you, but I just need to let it go. So, that's it, I guess. Um, I hope you're good. I want you to be good, and, um, okay, so, goodbye. Such a sad ending. I'm glad she said she loved him and teared up a bit. But she should have cried a river. Honestly, she cried for Dean and she cried so many times for that douchebag Logan and she didn't even cry for Jess ? Hell no.
Such a sad ending to such a great pairing. I still love them and I love, love all their scenes but I'm still bitter because my all time favorite TV couple did not get its happy ending.

I can't blame Dean for this because Rory had it coming. It was obvious that she had feelings for Jess and everyone knew but she couldn't deal with it so she stayed with Dean. I love how Jess feels sorry for her, I mean he should be happy, the boyfriend of the girl he wants is breaking up with her but he still feels for her (while I'm sure he's all happy on the inside).
Jess : Dean's a jerk. Yelling at you like that, breaking up in front of everybody... the guy's a total jerk.
Rory : No, he's not. He's right. Everything he said. All those things about you and me, all those things about me lying to him, and messing with his head. He was right. Well, wasn't he ? Fine, he was right about me, then. Now go away.

I kinda love the awkwardness of this scene. You'd think they would jump at each other after wanting it for so long but yet they feel embarrassed because they whole thing becomes real when they kiss. I'm not surprised by Rory's awkwardness but Jess' on the other hand is quite surprising. I mean, he's pretty confident and I think he feels embarrassed because it's the first time he's with a girl he truly cares about, he truly loves. So that's kind of a big step for him. And btw, their lips touch for like 1 second so this could definitely count as their first kiss as a couple.
I love how her face brightens up when she sees him.
Rory : You going to smoke that or mind meld with it ?

Their first kiss as a couple. And man, what a kiss ! I seriously had a hard time selecting the caps (I think I've made about 120 caps of the kiss. Narrowing it down to 16 was hard !) And yes, this part definitely works !

Rory : I was not hanging out with Dean. We were both hauled in there to watch her try out material and we were sitting in the same area so we talked a little, and then we left at the same time. That was it. It was all by accident.

Rory : I told you nothing happened at Patty's, but you just wouldn't believe it. You had to get into a fight with Dean tonight right before meeting my grandmother. This is a disaster.
Jess : I did not get into a fight with Dean.

Rory : I'm going to find out eventually, so why keep it from me ?
Jess : What if Dean had sucker-punched me and I had to defend myself ? You're not even considering the possibility that that's what happened ?

Jess : This black eye screwed everything up. Next time I go to your grandmother's, I'll try not to have one.

Rory : It's me. I just wanted to let you know that this is the last weekend I spend sitting around like an idiot hoping you'll call, okay ? I'm not going to be that girl. From now on, I want a plan. I mean, a real plan with a time and a place, and I'm tired of hearing ‘Let's hook up later.' What does that mean anyway ? What's later ? How do I set my watch to later ? Later doesn't cut it anymore, got it ? And, yeah, you know, maybe I am spoiled. But guess what ? I like being spoiled. I plan to go on being spoiled. And if that doesn't sound like something that you can or want to do, then fine. I'm sure you'll find another girl who doesn't mind sitting around cleaning her keyboard on a Friday night hoping you'll call, but it's not going to be me. Oh, yeah, this is a message for Jess.
I kinda understand Rory, she knows he's not the kind a boy that makes plans and everything but he fought to have her and now that he has her, he should still pay attention to her.

Rory : Fine, but if I'm going to spend two hours sitting there watching Kate Hudson commit suicide again, then we are ordering Indian food.

Rory : Hey, last night when we watched Ed Wood we got burgers like you wanted to.
Jess : Okay, fine - tonight, Indian food, but tomorrow, Saturday Night Fever and Thai food. So, it's been a couple days since you made the big decision. You still going to Yale ?
Rory : Yes, I am. It's got all the classes I want and some really great teachers, and plus, you know, as an added bonus, it's really close to here.
Jess : 22.8 miles.

I love how they always hold hands when they kiss. Also Dave/Jess = could have been a great friendship.

This scene could have been awesome but Jess had to be a jerk. He totally should have told Rory about his father instead of acting like a jerk. I mean, of course they were going to have sex eventually, Rory told Lorelai about it which means she was definitely thinking about it but just not like that. And I can't believe that of all her boyfriends, Jess is the only one she didn't do it with. Because man, these two would have had hot sex.
And of course, Dean is there to rescue her *rolleyes*
3.20 Say Goodnight, Gracie
Rory : Mom, can I just meet you at the church ?
Lorelai : Why, what are you planning ? Is it finally payback time ?
Rory : I just need to stop in at Doose's and get something. Kleenex, we'll need Kleenex.
Rory : Hey.
Jess : Hey.
Rory : Can I sit ?
Jess : Uh, sure, sit. I thought you took an earlier bus.
Rory : My first class got canceled today.
Jess : Oh. So what's been going on ?
Rory : Nothing much. Fran died.
Jess : I heard.
Rory : I went to her funeral yesterday.
Jess : Luke went, too.
Rory : I saw him there.
Jess : Yeah ?
Rory : He was in the back.
Jess : I can't go to the prom. I couldn't get tickets.
Rory : Oh.
Jess : Sorry.
Rory : This is my stop.
Jess : Okay.
Rory : So, you'll call me ?

This scene is so sad. Her face... she knows it's over. And Jess didn't handle the break-up well, at all. He could have said something instead of taking off without a word, I'm sure Rory would have helped him or supported him. I'm convinced that these two didn't end up together because of bad timing. Because of his father, Jess wasn't in a good place, he couldn't deal with his a father and a girlfriend.
They didn't end up together in season 6 because Rory was totally OOC in season 5 and 6 imo. And also because Milo was also a guest-star I guess xD. But anyway, in my mind and in many literati's minds, they did meet at Luke and Lorelai's wedding, got back together and now own a bookstore or something. Lorelai has her own room above the garage.
3.21 Here Comes the Son
Lorelai : Okay, first of all, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I just thought with all the stuff you were doing, maybe I should wait.
Rory : What's going on ?
Lorelai : Jess is gone.
Rory : Gone where ?
Lorelai : I don't know. Luke knows, but he didn't tell me. But he doesn't seem to think he's coming back.
Rory : Neither do I.

Rory : Jess, is that you ? Jess, I'm pretty sure it's you and I'm pretty sure you've been calling and not saying anything but wanna say something. Hello ? You're not going to talk ? Fine, I'll talk. You didn't handle things right at all. You could've talked to me. You could've told me that you were having trouble in school and weren't going to graduate, and that your dad had been there, but you didn't. And you ended up not taking me to my prom and not coming to my graduation and leaving again without saying goodbye again, and that's fine, I get it, but that's it for me. I'm going to Europe tomorrow and I'm going to Yale and I'm moving on. And I'm not going to pine. I hope you didn't think I was going to pine, okay ? I think... I think I may have loved you, but I just need to let it go. So, that's it, I guess. Um, I hope you're good. I want you to be good, and, um, okay, so, goodbye. That word sounds really lame and stupid right now, but there it is. Goodbye.
Such a sad ending. I'm glad she said she loved him and teared up a bit. But she should have cried a river. Honestly, she cried for Dean and she cried so many times for that douchebag Logan and she didn't even cry for Jess ? Hell no.
Such a sad ending to such a great pairing. I still love them and I love, love all their scenes but I'm still bitter because my all time favorite TV couple did not get its happy ending.
