Being a film producer can really suck!
My dear Lurians.
I'm really really sorry but I've got bad news. :-(
As you know, I'm in the middle of my finals at the moment and I won't be able to update my story "Fall of Reason" before I'm finished shooting my graduation film which will be in May. I never would have thought that the grant I got for the film would be more of a curse than a blessing. This is my first big film production...even my first "real" production, cause I'm usually the cinematographer who gets hired for one. And on top of it, I don't have a good production manager on hand so I'm doing EVERYTHING on my own, now, and it's so so so so much. I'm on the phone and writing e-mails like 14 hours a day and when the day ends I take a look at my "To do list" and think to myself "Where did all the time go? You hardly achieved anything today."
I probably won't become a filmmaker in the future so I'm glad that this is only once and only for my graduation. Funny, I keep thinking about Noah and about his DREAMS of becoming a filmmaker (isn't that the dream of the actor who plays Noah, too?). Anyway...I knew it was a hard profession before but doing it by myself now...Jesus! Noah will never get a boyfriend this way or only someone with the same occupation. My boyfriend is complaining already and I'm still only at the beginning of my production.
But long story short: It hurts me a lot that I don't have the time to go on with my story and even when I have a bit of free time I keep thinking about the project so even if I tried to write, my mind wouldn't be clear and then I suck at writing.
But I promise you: When this F....(trying hard not to swear) film shooting is over, I will go on with the story. I can't wait for all of this to be over and to get back to writing. I miss it so much and what I miss even more is YOU ALL. Lure livejournal, LRO... and especially LURE itself.
