Last Day of Break...!

Apr 03, 2005 12:13

Oh no! Break ends today and then tomorrow I must return to the halls of Modesto High. I'm actually not that troubled by the thought of long hours in boring classrooms. I mean, who likes school, anyway? cough*IB*cough. But I look forward to driving to school again! Yes. Plus it means more driving because I pick up Katrina before school, so it's like more fun for me. But that's my only consolation. The part I'm not looking forward to is...

Softball is not going well. It's making me mad that I'm not receiving the playing time that I deserve. I work hard and I get penalized for it. My history is more solid than half the team: I've played since I was five, I play travel ball, and I go to pitching and hitting lessons. It isn't common for the girls on the team to have those kind of stats behind them. MVP every year since I was like eight. So what the fuck?

It makes me even more mad that I screwed up like three balls in the outfield during the tournament. I'm not an outfielder, and I wish people would stop thinking I am. I don't know why people go, hey! She looks like she could play some outfield! Nope, that's not me. There are certain skills needed for each position and the ones needed for the green are ones that I don't possess. Ah well.

After I got home last night from "messin' with some Asians" with Megan (lol), I got a call from Mark. I last saw him on Friday night. Ok, so that's a whole day. Whatever. But he said he had a new friend that is infatuated with blondes and margaritas. So I thought, hey, I'm blonde and I love margaritas! So we went to this place and it was a lot more classy than the parties he usually takes me to. Most of the people were younger, too. Usually they're like college or like eighteen or so, but these people were like sixteen. It was a nice change. There were empty glasses of maragaritas EVERYWHERE. I broke like eight glasses by walking down a hallway, lol. But the theme was (can you guess?) Margarita Madness so to get in you had to down three glasses at the door. I loved doing that. Then to certain rooms, like a lame VIP you had a certain fee to pay, which was drinking more. I had no problem with that! And Mark was a little dissapointed that all the action he got was a few stolen kisses and a kiss goodnight. It makes me laugh.

I had a really weird dream that night, too. Sleepwalking was involved, too. I dreamed that I was in this black room, and I could barely see my hand when I held it up to my face. Then I saw the outline of a door with the light peeking through the edges. I walked towards it, but even though I was trying to run, I walked really slow. So when I got to the door and pulled it open, this blinding white light burst out and someone grabbed me from behind. I turned around and I was in Chas's arms and he was illuminated by the light, and he was wearing all white, too. Then I woke up and I was standing with my back to the front door, which was ajar. It was freaky. I have no idea what it means, but it scared me really bad.

I am going to take a shower, then go tan (for real this time!!), then go to the mall. I need a new belly ring because I've lost two of my cutest ones this break.

Oh no, I have to read Huck Finn! Damn it. And I need to call Irecel to see if we have math homework, too.

Love,
Angie

P.S. Megan: On the way home last night I was stopped at this red light and this car full of guys to my right kept saying, "Tina, come get some ham!" Oh my god, it was so funny. I was like, why are they saying that? Then I realized that it's written on my windows! Lol.
