Lovely Northwest Day in June

I simply cannot describe the joy my life is now. I went for a long bike ride today, and only had to get off and walk it once (really steep bit of hill). Happy, healthy body! Huzzah! Plus it helped me work up an appetite for lunch...which I decided should be sushi! Huzzah again...even more so when I get the time to sit and eat it. Nothing like a can of coke and some brisk exercise to get the brain started for the day.
I must admit though, that I like to rush through my responsiblities in the morning, so I can sit and goof of with the Sims 2 or one of my several free MMORPGs that I've lately discovered. It fills the void that Everquest once occupied in my gaming life. So far I've gotten into Runescape (I will NOT give in and become a paying member...I will NOT!!! *focusing will*) and Endless Online. I think I like Endless for the anime style toons (characters) that you get to play. There is nothing like playing a cute little school girl with a big green sword! I must complain that the play is a little slow...but for a free game of that nature, I'm not surprised.
As for real life, other than trying to eat better and exercise more, Mike and I have been very happy. There's been moments, no relationship being totally perfect...but generally, I'm far, far happier than I have ever been. I have noticed, that the age difference can occasionally have glaring effect...but not in ways that we haven't been able to communicate and deal with. I can't help but think that's a healthy thing.
The animals are doing well. Bear is sleek and happy, and gets to spend big chunks of the sunny days of summer romping in the big dog run that is the back yard. He's getting along super with Bubba and Jake, especially since we picked them up from the women's prison after vacation. The prison in Shelton runs and AWESOME and INEXPENSIVE pet boarding and cleaning program. The boys (cat included), were fat, happy, and cleaner and better groomed than they had ever been. We were VERY pleased.
As far as the life of the mind goes, I've been reading far too many books. I knew that would happen as soon as I went back to work at the book store. I can't afford them all, so I borrow them...and end up having stacks of unread things backpiling. AAAAA...there needs to be a twelve step program.
Anyway, I need food and to fold laundry...so off the computer for a bit.
