NBC has announced that after Monday 10/23 Studio 60 will be pulled pending possible relocation to a different time/day. They will be replacing its current time slot of 9pm cst on Monday with Friday Night Lights. This show is critically acclaimed but is lacking in viewer support. Perhaps a new night and time will be better for the show but the steps NBC are taking usually lead to the cancellation of the show.... not good.
So if you watch the show and like it please go to
NBC.com and send them an email not to cancel. If you've never watched the show, go to NBC.com and send them an email not to cancel (and then perhaps tune in to see if you helped save a show you may want to watch). If you've seen the show and don't like it, forget you saw this and please don't go NBC and ask them to cancel ;o)
It's a really, really good show. You know that or you wouldn't have picked it up. It's clever and funny. It has you laughing, then hits you with a blunt truth while your guard is down. I can't tell you how many times during the three episodes i've thought to myself, that IS how that feels. I had no idea Matthew Perry could be funny AND dramatic but he is a joy to watch. And Sarah Paulson, where has she been all my t.v. viewing life?! It's a show about vulnerability in love, in career, in friendship. I've watched from the beginning and every week I convince a new person to check it out and 3 of 4 people so far have decided it will become their Monday night show! Not to mention the couple dozen people I didn't have to convince because they were already watching and talking other people into watching.
I prefer this shows rapid fire, quick wit and ease with area's of emotion much more than desperate to get a laugh comedy shows out there. Please be patient and if you have to move the timeslot, okay, but don't cancel this show!
