For anyone who even remembers me
After a month of working full-time, I've gotten a promotion. It's not because of anything I've done, just that about half of my co-workers have moved on to other things. It is a $2/hr raise. My wage is still less than anyone else's in the world, except perhaps a 7 year old Korean sweatshop worker, but $2 seems so decadent. I'm also a supervisor, which is odd. I'm still no where near being a success story, but at least I feel closer to where I imagined myself at 30.
I've cut myself off from 95% of the world, not purposefully but also not entirely unintentionally, and am too tired to do much except play WoW. I haven't been reading books or watching movies either. I hope this is just a phase, because I can't imagine doing this for 40 years.
