Happy Birthday to Me
August 16th was my birthday. I turned 37. I made myself keep busy not because I'm that popular but because I didn't want to be by myself today. A lot of people think of my birthday as an afterthought even in my own family so I make a point of just going out and staying gone for it if nothing interesting comes along.
I saw District 9. It was kinda cool and different and there are definate openings for a sequal. I liked it but doubt I'll spend money on it for my dvd collection. I went and bought a cake to share with other people who had birthdays close to mine and spent my birthday just doing what I would do any Sunday. I got some birthday text messages which was nice. :) It was a quiet birthday.
But I still feel old.
