Day 1 and 2 at the Folks
Well the first day I was at my folks I spent my day in the car listening to my mother and grandfather catching me up on things going on in the family. Not that much goes on with my family. My grandfather is healthy and happy and that is a good thing. He's still senile and tends to make up stories that never happened but I'm slowly taking it in stride. His current obsession is baseball. ALL THE TIME on the television. That is of course when there aren't westerns on. Then he'll watch those and believe the crap in the movies is true. Mom says he's watched The Searchers at least a dozen times.
So I went and hid in the guest room periodically on the second day. Only to find out I left my authenticator for WoW at home and the satilite is really slow. I took the time to clean the laptop from top to bottom since the net was flakey and it seems to be working faster now. I managed to get my twitter working again. I also chatted with friends and wished hamner a Happy Birthday.
Today Mpm took me to get my hair styled. I now have a blonde streak in my hair. It looks kinda funky and I'm getting used to it. Grandpa is still watching westerns and I'm currently on the laptop while Mom takes care of paying the bills and doing laundry.
