(no subject)
so that blah icon doesn't look very blah. it looks happy and jumpy and stuff. whatever. i haven't written in this in ages because i have a new addiction, as well as the rest of the lsu campus population...facebook. that shit is like crack. i'm not as bad as i was at first though, so i guess that is a good thing.
christmas went by waaay too fast. i did gift wrapping at cohn turner until christmas eve. not bad, just kinda boring at times, but then others we were soo swamped in gifts. let's just say i can wrap a present in like 2mins flat now. anywho, me and mel played car tag on the way home christmas eve. when i had gotten home around 5ish, i found out that my mom had done her usual holiday baking...just without me. i think the is the first time in 21 years that i have NOT helped my mom make fudge and cookies...i was highly disappointed...and to make it worse...she did it with my future sister-in-law. that is a mother/daughter thing! oh yea, my brother is engaged to a girl named saraH...imagine that. on a better note, it snowed christmas day. we had a snowball fight outside with all the neighbors...very very fun stuff. we looked like a bunch of fools to the cars coming down the street because the youngest one of us is like 20...and the dads were even out in the fight.
went out a few times while i was home. omg, i went to la casa one night and let me tell you, i saw more people in there in the hour i was there, than the last 3 years. i swear everyone in st. charles parish was there. i found out who was married and/or pregnant now. i feel old b/c lots of people i know are married now or have kids. they ask who im dating and i'm like i can't even find someone i like enough to date, let alone marry. and not to mention, i have a hard enough time taking care of myself,let alone a kid. anywho, tim now works at the boot, so we went there. yea yea, i know it's the boot, but i actually had a blast both times. of course we had to hit up our usual spots such as tj's and madigans and even went to tucks. but thursday at the boot was amazing...all im gonna say is me, jessie, and jessica were together and everyone knows it gets wild when are all together and drinking. emily even came meet up with us and her and i reverted back to our old lafayette/amanda scotts days by taking shots on the bar and off each other and all that crazy stuff. tim said there is now a picture of me and my friends behind the bar there...im somewhat embarrassed by this, but of course i'm proud to.
new years was somewhat unevenful. we went to darus's and it was great to see everyone, but i felt somewhat out of place because i hadn't talked to most of the people there in almost a year. i had really wanted to go karl's house in metairie, but mel wanted to pass by darus's and we ended up staying. we eventually went to karl's around 2.30ish and visited with everyone who was still there but it was somewhat dead by then. we went to houma sat night to hang out with dustin and went out in thibodaux...that was interesting. i wished i had stayed in new orleans, but we ended up getting drunk and having a good time, so it turned out good.
i had my wisdom teeth pulled the monday after new years. so, needless to say i spent the week laid up and on pain killers. i came back to baton rouge thursday to take care of that MIP i got at the football game in november. i had to pay $125 for the ticket and now i have to pay another $25 for a class to get it taken off my record. fucking ATC, i swear. i got hired at cohn turner as a cashier now, so i started training on friday and i've been doing that all week. so that takes us to today and it's time to watch my wed shows. i havent been out in 2 weeks...i think that may be a record for me.
