Ah, the glorious 12th! This day, in the year of our Lord 1690 when the Protestant William of Orange slayed his Catholic step-father in a battle saw the beginning of a more intense form of Catholic oppression on this beautiful isle of ours, I mean, one quarter theirs, I mean, ehh... But every year the Orange men insist on parading, not once, but tens of times through predominantly Catholic areas, still sounding their battle pipes and drums, to keep their tradition of oppression, I mean of the celebration of their glorious victory. On the 11th night they have huge bonfires across Ulster, put Irish flags and figures representing Catholics on top and torch them. But this is not sectarianism, oh no, this is in keeping with the tradition of their glorious victory over Catholicism. Well, they do claim it is for religious reasons, so God bless them all, I'm sure He would be proud!
