I hate it when my friends are hurting. I'm careful with whom I choose to be friends with, so, when I pick someone, I know they're a pretty awesome person. Right now, my best (and I use that term in every sense of the word) friend is hurting and there's nothing I can do about it. She fell for someone--who I thought was a decent guy--and he took advantage of her feelings. He led her on and let him get physical with her, but then told her the next day that he didn't want anything more from her and that the only reason he asked her to do those things was because he was "drunk".
YET he had the presence of mind at the time to tell her that he wasn't going to kiss her, because he didn't want to be her first kiss. Obviously, it was okay for him to be her first grope, though.

I'm fucking pissed off at this person right now. Yes, you know who you are, jerk face! Sure, it takes two to tango, but you knew how she felt about you and you still invited--scratch that, you asked her to do things to you that people who are "just friends" don't do to each other. Did you not think that perhaps she thought it was leading somewhere? That you were finally going to get your shit together, wake up, and start going out with the girl who you keep leading on physically? What the fuck was she supposed to think?
"Oh, look; here's the guy who knows that I totally adore him. Let's have a grope and move on as though nothing has happened. Surely our being physical won't mean anything!"
That was sarcasm, by the way, in case you were too dense to catch onto that too. I know I'm being harsh and brutal right now, but to quote a journal I read recently: " ... mates dont lie to mates.. Mates are blunt and honest and DONT PATHALOGICALLY LIE." I'm giving it to you straight, just like you seem to want. You can take what you want from this and think what you will of me. I. Don't. Care. You hurt my friend--who is as close to me as a sister--and that means you've hurt me.
PS. Oh, and did I forget to mention that she also gave up the chance to have a great relationship with another guy, whom she did like, because she thought that this butt face was worth more? Frustrating, hey?
