and now a short one
I don't know why, but this is the first time I've ever been conscious of the date 9/11. Obviously as it happened, I was aware of the events, I've never looked back at the changes in the world before. I don't know what my thoughts are, but I'm aware that something happened to the world that day that will take a long time to recover from. Maybe I'll grapple with it forever, but I hope to do so with open eyes.
