1.What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Played the bongos.

You're having a laugh. And yes, it always helps to make resolutions and then break them the following day.

No. If they gave birth they'd be as far away from me as possible.

Nobody close, but many people I admired.

6.What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
A girlfriend, a driving license, some Hudson gigs, a 12-year-old girl and a donkey.
7.What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I can't remember the dates, but the weekend Holly visited. And the day I moved back into my Lincoln house to find Dave, the squalid cunt.
8.What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting through to the second year, getting a first in Public Admin.
9.What was your biggest failure?
My failure to grow close to a girl and get some kind of relationship.

Nope.
11.What was the best thing you bought?
I bought a fucking lot of CDs but I can't name my favourite.

My Lincoln friends, Jez for letting me and Alan move in to his shit-hot house, Dave for giving me the kick up the arse I needed to cut down on my drinking.

Dave. Without a single doubt in my mind.

CDs, booze, weed.
15.What events did you get really, really, really excited about?
Kinski playing the Rescue Rooms and getting to meet them, Four Tet and Explosions at the same gig.

There will probably be a lot, but right now all I can think of is Nirvana's Scentless Apprentice.

Cycling, making attempts to get to know people.

The day will be spent with family. The evening will be spent with friends at John's house getting absolutely slaughtered off my tits for the first time in months.

The latter part of 2005 it was probably Holly. I only tend to use my phone for texts, I hate speaking to people on the phone.

3 or 4.

My love for Classic Simpsons episodes was rekindled, and Family Guy Season 4 is genius. Peep show deserves a huge mention as well.

Nah, I don't hate anyone really.

Hunter S Thompson's Rum Diaries.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery or rediscovery?
Better use of modes, songwriting skills honed a little more. Musical rediscovery was definitely Tool. All hail Tool.
28. What did you want and get?
A new guitar.
29. What did you want and not get?
I wanted a girlfriend, I didn't get one. This is largely my fault for pushing away the ones I actually liked. I had chances and I blew them all.

I can't think of any actually released this year so I'll ream off the usual Classics. Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Vanilla Sky, etc...
31.What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I think I got absolutely fucked. I was/am 19.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A room full of women and money. And the walls are made from condensed weed. And Jack Daniels flows from the taps.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
I wouldn't. I wear a lot of dark colours, that's about it.

My friends and family, music, knowing that I can achieve my goals if I put effort into something.

Most - Katie Melua (fuck off). Least - David Blunkett.

Nothing. The G8 would've if they actually did something.

Fuck knows.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
I can't remember who I didn't know last year. I have a few casual acquaintances around Uni that I like, other than that I can't think of anyone.

Don't piss up a chippy wall when there's a policewoman watching.
