i'm trying to remember whether you became involved in that night.

we'd voted at 10:30 and gone to Big Beers (that sports bar on darling harbour) and I had my first vodka red bull at 11am.

I don't recall whether I ditched everyone else (I was hanging with the Dubbo crew that day) and went to the century alone, or, no. They came with me for awhile.

And then I must have met up with others of my kind (like you) and just... stayed. Until Mark came to get me at 10:30 the following morning.

I don't think you were there because I know that at one point, just before Mark arrived, I had challenged Taylor to a game of pool but I couldn't actually stand up, and he said that I would never win considering I was standing almost a metre from the table and starting to line up my shot.

Then I face planted the floor.

And then my phone rang, and.. someone.. I don't remember who, answered it. All I know is, I looked around and some guy was on my phone, hanging up and he told me it was my boyfriend and I was like FUCK.

because this was... ahh yes, this was about two weeks after the night that resulted in you never going to work again.

So yeah, Mark came and got me at 10:30. I don't know.. how. Somehow he got upstairs, but the doors were all locked. Or. Maybe.. I don't knwo. whatever.

it was a bad one.

i dont think i was even there for that one because you didnt see me for ages after the night that resulted in me never going to work again. but i do remember you telling me about it.

but it reminded me of escapades at the century, criterion etc. oh i loved those times.

I remember I saw you at Vortex when I got back from my parents place but then didn't see you for ages. That was the end of our debaucherous nights! :(

start next monday doing pre-press at another printing company that do big ass banners and shit.

so its easy and doesn't pay as well but it means i get to blow my payout on my car and bills and soon enough i should get something on silly money again when the industry starts to get busy again in a month.

yeah this should be chilled and its a little different to what i have been doing so i can learn some new stuff.

I was there that weekend ... I remember you eventually went to a doctor because your kidneys/liver hurt????

That's how I feel today - I started drinking Absinthe energy drinks and cider at 2pm on Saturday and moved onto beer when that ran out and got home at 6.30pm the next night. 28 hours non stop drinking etc.

How old am I again??

hahaha yeah, that was my first (but sadly, not only) case of pancreatitis.

I'll always remember the look on the doctor's face.

I just .. turned up and said "yeah I've had really bad stomach and back pain, it's all.. internal organny pain if that makes sense?"

he said "did you do any drinking on the weekend?"
"yeah", i nodded.
"okay, what were you drinking? beer? wine? spirits?"
"vodka red bulls"
"and beer or wine?"
"no, just vodka red bulls"
at this point a little concern crept onto his face.
"how many would you say you had?"
"umm. well i don't know. it would have to be at least 30 - 40 because i drank for 24 hours".

":O"

he didn't make any effort to hide his shock or disgust, and quickly glanced at a photo of a young girl on his desk, his daughter i assumed.

and that's when i realised that i'd become the patient that he goes home and warns his children about. that sucked.

also, woman. what the fuck are you thinking?! haha man. absinthe. no way in hell. how did you last that long?? even with energy drinks... i just can't do it anymore. it hurts me after three drinks. my back aches and burns and i get a really sharp pain in my chest and it hurts to breathe haha. i don't think i'll ever be able to have benders like that again!

plus also my quirks are no more bizarre than everyone else's, i just don't hide it, hahaha.

How do you think I lasted that long??? Have you not heard Matt Hell referring to me as the better looking version of himself??

I still haven't worked out if that is a compliment yet :D

But yes, I am having physical issues so I need to cut out about 75% of my drinking ... I keep telling myself that next week will be fine :(
