I have finally arrived. I am in Granbury, Tx, just south of Ft. Worth. I staying at the clubhouse where I will soon enough begin working. The trip down here was interesting. First of all... it was super long; two full days. Secondly, i'm SOOOO glad i'm not living in Kentucky, Tn, or Arkansas. Can we say hillbilly? Yikes. At least the places near the interstate. I was so relieved to get here
For all of you who do not know, I have moved (well almost) to Texas to live... for good. I had my second interview a week ago, accepted the job on Thursday and left on Monday morning. It was way too soon for my liking, but hey... money calls. I'll be working at a homeowners association that is run like a country club. My title is "Asst. Clubhouse Manager"
I have to spend all day tomorrow looking for a place to live. I'm probably going to have to live a half hour away for at least 6 months. After that I'm looking to buy a townhouse. ::crosses fingers::
This place is like pleasantville. Its kind of creapy, but I like it so far. I'll post pictures and explain later. Right now I'm tired from driving.
OH YEAH. For EVERYONE reading this, e-mail me your home address and any other info that I might not have (phone/e-mail/etc) petrov18@msu.edu
I know I'm not in Michigan anymore when the seatbelt roadside slogan is "buckle up, in your truck"
