all over my brand new
sparkly white carpet
even though you promised
you wouldnt
i was really angry
until i realized
i could just buy a
new vaccum cleaner
and it would end
all this heartbreak

you ruined my painting
scarred it with charcoal
even though it was
supposed to be
in oil paint
i was devastated
until it occured to me
i could just pretend
that it was a stroke
of genuis and was meant
to be that way
