Yup, I got engaged on the 19th to Ely, my beautiful girlfriend fiancee :) Went to a restaurant for our year anniversary (also the 19th) and then I booked the VIP booth on the Birmingham Wheel to propose to her (she said yes :P ). The photo's of us on the wheel, taken with her mobile. Everything went really well, apart from the champagne in the booth blowing up on us >_< The manager gave us another free trip to use whenever we want though, which was cool.
We're not sure when the wedding's going to be exactly, probably some time in September next year though. Hopefully by then I'll have a full-time job after finishing college, and Ely's moving to Birmingham sometime in December (this year) so I can go live in her place for a while and mooch off her >:) Everything was looking really doubtful for a while, complications with her passport and her family being the weirdos that they are, but I think all our plans are coming together now, I'm feeling really happy and hopeful about it all. She's changed my life so much for the better <3
