So I got to see Mike again last night. I hadn't seen him since he moved and said he was going to join the Marines. It was good seeing him again, and I kind of miss hanging out with him regularly. I just hope this whole thing doesn't change him into some god fearing right wing person. He seems pretty confident that it won't though, so that's good. I'll be happy as long as nothing bad happens to him. It'll be interesting to hear from him after he's been in the Marines for a while. He said he doesn't leave till February, so there's a little more time to try and hang out with him some more.
Started up Final Fantasy 8 again. It's been so long since I played it that it feels like I'm playing it for the first time, with a little nostalgia here and there. This time around I should be able to actually comprehend the story. I had trouble with things like that back when I used to play it a lot. I suppose I didn't care all that much, I was just trying to get through the game and build up characters.
Simon got stapled for his wound to help hold it closed while it heals. It only cost me 25 bucks too, which is good. Simon scratched most of them out though, which is bad. I think maybe there's enough in there though to hold it closed enough to heal it right. The vet said that perhaps the reason it wasn't closing properly was it's location on his body. It's sort of by his jaw, so there's a lot of movement. The wound is closed enough that it's about half the size it was. Perhaps Simon will be fine if he doesn't scratch out the last two staples.
I really like these new boxer briefs I got. Oh man, I don't think I could wear another pair of underwear again. ^_^
