WTF is up with these damn airlines?!?!
So haven't posted here in ages .... but things have been pretty crazy as of late. But at least one large road block is finally out of the way. And that is organic chemistry.
I made it through!!! ... I'm done forever!!! ... and I even did pretty well in the end.
A in lab and B in lecture ... all i needed was to pass. And now to never worry about that subject again.
Got one more semester left to finally get a degree. It's going to be a full load because I'm taking the last 3 classes i need for my zoology degree. And a couple extra business classes online to help me get into a masters program in business since my major is still zoology.
But i can't imagine it being anything less than ridiculously easy compared to organic chemistry. But i will innately have a lot less time because I have 3 classes to make it to every week instead of one.
So now ... i'm in the airport waiting on the most ridiculous layover ever waiting to get to go see sara.
Now ... don't get me wrong .. i was really excited to get to see my sara. But this airline process has been hell!!!
First off I have to get a flight out of town for it to be worth it ... cause prices are soo high right now. So I wake up at 5 am this morning ... to drive to Jacksonville. Luckily myke came with me so i didn't have to worry about parking there. But then there's the usual security and check in ... and i find out that i have to pay 15$ to check one baggage. You are now limited to one carry on bag as well.
Then the shocker was that when i got on the flight - not only are they not serving food for free anymore ... now drinks are pay as well. If you want a soda or water ... 2$ ... just coffee? ... 1$
Once i got to charlotte where my layover is ... i went to see if i could get on an earlier flight as Sit was going the same place but 2 hours earlier. The attendant was rude to me, told me i couldn't switch because i checked luggage - which i was practically forced to do (even though i only had my bookbag and one small carry on sized suitcase - which i know is unusual for me). And because it was restrcited they would charge me at least 50$ to switch. But even though there was an hour till that flight left she wasn't even going to entertain the idea.
In any case, I made it there ok ... but i do not think i will be flying again anytime soon - if i can avoid it ... i will.
